May is such a beautiful season in Japan with fresh green leaves and flowers.

We had a groundbreaking ceremony on February 26, 2018, for the monument building at the shrine in the Usui Sensei’s birthplace. The construction work has been making progress and the target completion is end of August 2018.  The unveiling ceremony is scheduled on September 23, 2018 at the shrine and the celebration party will be held at Gifu Miyako Hotel.

  More than 200 people have donated to honor Usui Sensei’s achievements in teaching us Reiki Do, which is a pathway to health and happiness, and the donations have exceeded half of the target amount. Thank you so much for your generous contributions.

 This monument building project is completely different from any other regular events. As long as there is a Usui Reiki practitioner somewhere in the world, this place will be remembered and bring all the Usui Reiki practitioners together. It is the best time to for the Reiki practitioners to participate in and witness this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  

We accept donations from patrons in Japan until end of May, and from the patrons overseas until June 14. I heard that some people have never heard of this monument project at all. I would like to make sure that this information has been notified entirely in the Usui Reiki community. I would appreciate it if you could pass this information on to your friends and fellow practitioners. 

 June 15 is the due date to apply for a participation in the ceremony in September. We have seats for 120 people, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis. We have already received many applications. Thank you so much.
